The title is from a 1923 short story / prose poem by Ernest Hemingway, writing in his most Gertrude Stein mode, about the post Great War peace talks among world leaders in Lausanne, Switzerland (look it up!).
The Viper song is about the Paris edition of these talks and was written for a spectacular show featuring dozens of Madison and Milwaukee performers first staged on November 11, 2018, the centenary of the Armistice, titled The Greatest War.
